Daal Palak (Daal Spinach)




Ingredients
  • Daal (I prefer mix of Toor daal and moong daal)
  • Spinach
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Chillies
  • Turmeric
  • Red Chilly powder
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • Oil
Method
  • Pressure cook daal in salt and turmeric
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add cumin, chillies, finely chopped garlic, ginger & onion 
  • Cover it for a couple of min and let it cook
  • Add spinach to the pan and little salt and mix well. Let it cook for around 5 mins
  • Now add turmeric, chilly powder and mix well and cook for some time
  • Add hot water and let it boil
  • Now add daal to the pan and let it boil

Your daal is ready.
